These are all the Marque-1 or 2 tools that didn't pass my quality control inspection. These tools have been polished and engraved but there were small defects on them. Defects include small scratches, inconsistent polish, spatter, or a bad engraving.
These issues do not compromise the integrity of the tool! These are purely cosmetic defects!
Scratches can happen during the handling of the material during the milling process, transportation, and storage of these large sheets of steel or titanium.
Polishing defects are just because these are done in large batches and are not individually polished. Sometimes they get stuck to each other and don't get completely polished in between.
Spatter happens during the laser cutting process, the titanium that is heated and cut sometimes sprays up and attaches itself to the metal when it lands. These usually look like small raised bumps on the surface
